A Day on the Pale Blue Dot - 6

Chocolates!

The 1st word of this post should set the mood! Yes, Friday! Yayyy!

A quite relaxing day at office, much of the time spent in casual talk with the Senior Manager and Director. But interestingly, I got more work done than all other days in the rest of my week combined! Probably because the rest of my team was not available in office! 😛

I did leave early from office, at around 5:30 PM, lest I get drenched in the rain like yesterday. After taking the last meeting for the week and finishing off work, it was time to plan dinner. Porotta & chicken sausage - it was decided. My wife and I walked to the local supermarket. Had to take the umbrella since it was drizzling.

It might have taken just 10 minutes for us to get foodstuff for dinner and breakfast cooking into our shopping cart. Then we happened to stop at the chocolate section and spent a good 20 minutes there choosing some candies and chocolates to buy. Some of them bringing back childhood memories, we might have turned into kids for some 10-15 minutes. We ended up buying 5 candies/chocolates, much, much more than our usual buy.

Back at home the first thing we tried was the Magic Pops - it took us straight to our childhood!

After dinner my wife had Nutties, and I had some chocolate ice-cream. A day well spent, I would say!
